Many buyers are also there early - keen to find the best bargains. Second Hand Only on a Sunday - new goods including Craft items to be sold on the Market Site. If you sell new goods/crafts - then please sell at the Saturday Car Boot where you are very welcome.
For sellers; Skirlington Sunday Car Boot is a strictly SECOND HAND ONLY Car Boot Sale. However on Saturday: all are welcome to attend (Traders, Makers, Crafters). There is no need to book your space as we have plenty of room. Sellers 10-11am and you will be directed into a space. You can queue on site for 10am opening to ensure you have the pitch you want. You will need to bring your own display equipment; this may be pasting tables or simply a rug to lay on the floor to display your goods. Remember to pack your table or rugs last, and valuables first so that they are safe and last out of your vehicle. It is a good plan to have an idea how much you want for your items (pricing labels are ideal) as it can be very busy from the moment you open your car boot! Rents will be collected between 8am - 10am. Packing up commences 1pm (gates are locked until 1pm).
For Buyers; Buyers are welcome to arrive from 6am but mostly arrive after 8am once the Car Booters have had time to set up and are ready for business. There's a 50p per adult entry charge (kids under 16 free)
Can I sell new goods at the Car Boot? Not on a Sunday, we do not allow new goods to be sold at the Car Boot at Skirlington on Sundays. This is due to the proximity of our market. New goods are to be sold on the market site only. YES, you can on a Saturday.
Have a great day out with us! There's something special about clearing out your cupboards, attic or garage and turning it into cash and no better place to sell than at one of our busy car boots on the east coast. Come and see for yourself.
